MISS VIRGINIA & NOW MISS AMERICA...
CARESSA CAMERON

Last Saturday women from all states & territories competed for the Miss America 2010 crown.

Congrats are in order for 22 year old broadcast journalism student Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron from Fredricksburg, Va. This was extra special for yours truly as I am a former pageant Queen, Native of Virginia and graduate of HBCU NSU with a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism, so much in common with our new Miss America . I'm so happy for Caressa and even more proud that she represents my home state!

Having won the Miss America 2010 crown in Las Vegas, Miss Virginia beat out 52 other contestants to win a 50,000 scholarship.

This week's OH SO FLOSSY AWARD recipient.....
