SPEAKING OF INTER-FAITH RELATIONSHIPS...

In case you missed it, the Avenue Pink ladies had an AWESOME show this past Monday about "Inter-Religious Relationships." We had relationship columnist and author Sil Lia Abrams, Reverend Mark Jefferson and co-pastor Le Anne Clausen Des Montes. Our guests were well-versed in discussing the drama involved in joining people from different religious and cultural backgrounds.

I recently caught wind of this new web series entitled "Married on MySpace." MySpace users vote for featured couples to assist in planning their wedding. The lucky couple lets MySpacers choose EVERYTHING from their wedding location, bridesmaids selection, wedding ring and the list goes on. Talk about stepping out on faith!

The lucky couple included a Latina woman and white male. Click on the link to the video below where the bride's mother is almost in tears because she had her own ideas of what their wedding was supposed to be like, including the kind of Church she wants the couple to exchange vows. These are some of the things that came up in our discussion on AVENUE PINK Radio.

The additional webisodes can be watced on http://www.myspace.com/marriedonmyspace.

I also want to send a special shout out to callers, all of whom were very passionate in their beliefs about being with people of another identity from their own. It was a heated debate!

Make sure you download a FREE podcast of this week's past show at www.blogtalkradio.com/avenuepink. Until next time, see you on the Block--Monday Nights, 10pm EST.
