Here's some Q&A from the couple that won the contest:
1) What did you do to stand out in this online casting call?
Dehlia:
We were just being ourselves. We tried to let our goofy/non-traditional side come through. We are not your typical couple, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Turns out it was a good thing, lol.
Graeham:
Like Dehlia said, we were just being our goofy selves. We figured, we should just be ourselves and if it was meant to be, it was meant to be.
2) Reasons Why America is Addicted to Reality TV
Dehlia:
Because you never know what is going to happen next. When people are 100% real, you see some real interesting stuff.
Graeham:
Haha, yeah, I have to agree with Dehlia, people are crazy, when the cameras are rollin and they forget they're there, you see some crazy stuff that no one could come up with. We totally forget the cameras are there and we're just a few weeks into it!
3) The Benefits of Being A Reality TV Star
Dehlia:
Benefits is you get to be "you" vs playing some character.
Graeham:
The main benefit of being a Reality TV Star is that Joel McHale will make fun of you.
4) List Your Top Five Reality TV Shows
Dehlia:
Kendra/Hank: we totally relate to their relationship. I'm a lot like "wild" Kendra and G's a lot like "calm" Hank. Plus we are hardcore Eagles/NFL fans so it's fun to watch that side of it too.
-Girls Next Door (season 1): really loved that 1st group of girls. They remind me of me, AC and the girls. We like to be sexy and do fun random things, but we keep some clothes on, haha!
-Jersey Shore: this show was so extreme and hilarious! Snooki always surprised me. I know a lot of people like to judge, but I give her props for doing her thing and keeping it REAL, haha.
- The Married Life w/Elle n Tito: definitely gotta keep up w/ the O.G. Couple that got Married on MySpace
- Bad Girls Club: Every girl has a "bad girl" side, but most don't let her out, haha! Well these girls don't hold back at all definitely entertaining
Graeham:
Before we became part of a reality show, I didn't watch reality shows by choice - Dehlia would have them on while I would do other stuff. Sometimes, though, I would catch myself getting into a show. The ones that make beyond annoying and into entertaining are:
- Jersey Shore
- Making the Band
- Kendra & Hank
