Upcoming Events

Pink Slip Mixer Atlanta (Atlanta, GA)

Wednesday November 4th from 5 – 8 PM
The Event Center at Opera in Midtown Atlanta
1150 Peachtree St NE
Atlanta, GA 30309

‘A resume in one hand and a drink in the other’ describes one of the hottest job networking trends in America. The so-called Pink Slip Mixer combines the concept of a professional business networking event with speed dating and the elements of a traditional job fair minus the long lines, tables and booths. The Pink Slip Mixer is a multi-dynamic grassroots community based event that is putting a new spin on the job search.

At a Pink Slip Mixer mid-to-upper level professionals seeking employment network and mingle over cocktails with Recruiters of companies that are hiring locally. For job seekers, recruiters and even people just wanting to network, a Pink Slip Mixer is the perfect event as unemployment in some of America’s largest metropolitan cities is now higher than the national average such as Metro Atlanta where as of July unemployment is at 10.7%.

Atlanta’s first-ever Pink Slip Mixer will be co-hosted by national community grassroots non-profit networking organization PinkSlipMixers.com and national on-line job board JobsDirectUSA.com. The event will take place at The Event Center at Opera in Midtown Atlanta on Wednesday November 4th from 5 – 8 PM and will be free for the general public.

Job Seekers are encouraged to dress to impress, bring copies of their resume and be ready to network. All hiring companies in the Greater Atlanta Area are encouraged to attend. This is not your typical job fair; in fact it's far from it.
