Meet Karen!Hi, I am Karen St. Hilaire and I believe in YOU!
I believe that every person has a special ingredient to add to any situation. I want every person that I encounter in life to dig deep and find this ingredient and use it.
Kadence LLC was created in response to a need for motivating and empowering network that prepares individuals for the next level in their personal and professional lives. I believe that when a person stops to sip on life’s delights, they will find their rhythm. By sharing my ‘teapot’ theory with individuals via workshops and one-on-sessions, I help them connect with themselves and others that will only build on their foundation.
I strive to motivate and empower every individual that I meet. Every time someone whispers to me "Karen, you’ve pushed me and I did it- I WON," that’s a blessing.
My background includes an undergraduate degree in Legal Studies and a Masters degree in Urban Affairs. I'm certified in Board Training from the United Way Linkages Program as well Campaign Management training from the Women's Campaign School at Yale University. Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, NY honored me as a “Woman of Distinction” for my service to the community.
I am an Adjunct Lecturer in Sociology: Urban Community at CNR/Brooklyn and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
